Ingredients

  • Buns
  • Brats
  • Onions (sweet, white, yellow or red will all work)
  • Fried onion
  • Jalapeños
  • Cheese of choice

Directions

  1. Sauté the onions until almost caramelized.
  2. Add and sauté the jalapeños until soft and the onions are caramelized and transfer to a plate.
  3. Cook the brats in a pan, adding cheese at the end so it melts and crisps up a little bit.
  4. (Optional) Toast the bun.
  5. Divide up the onion jalapeño mix between the buns with the fried onions and any remaining cheese.
  6. Enjoy!
