Ingredients
- 12 wonton wrappers
- spray oil or olive oil and a pastry brush as needed
- ½ cup pizza sauce (spaghetti sauce works in a pinch!)
- ¼ tsp Italian seasoning
- 2-3 oz shredded mozzarella cheese (freshly shredded melts better than pre-shredded)
- ¼ cup toppings (see list below)
Directions
- Pre-heat oven to 365° and spray a muffin tin with nonstick spray (or use a pastry brush to brush the cups lightly with oil.)
- Layer two wonton wrappers per cup, rotating the second wonton square so each cup looks like a star and covers the whole muffin cup.
- Bake for 5 minutes.
- Remove crisped wontons from oven and divide pizza sauce between 6 of the cups, spooning a little into the bottom of each wonton cup.
- Sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
- Top each cup with grated mozzarella and pepperoni (or choice of toppings from the list below.)
- Bake for an additional 10-15 minutes or until the sauce is hot and the cheese is melty.
- Add any additional toppings or garnish as you please.
Toppings (diced)
- mushrooms
- bell pepper
- onion
- basil
- diced tomatoes
- olives
- pepperoni
- sausage
- spinach
- ham + pineapple

- grated parmesan cheese
